Own The Adventure was born in the British water.
While training to swim the English Channel, I searched for British-made swimwear that could withstand long, cold hours in the sea — without harming the wild places I loved. When it didn’t exist, I decided to create it.
A WhatsApp group of extraordinary women formed, having met these incredible women at lakes, lidos, and coastlines, supporting one another through early mornings, tough swims, and bigger life moments.
These women have been absolutely pivotal in driving OTA from concept to nationwide business. I love these women and so very grateful for their love and support.
When one of those women was diagnosed with breast cancer, OTA became about more than swimming.
That moment led to lasting partnerships with local cancer charities — turning shared adventure into shared purpose.
Today, OTA is proudly British-made, ethically produced, and crafted from eco-friendly fabrics because protecting our waters matters as much as swimming in them.
