Our story
Born in British water. Built around brave people.
Own The Adventure began with one long swim and grew into colourful kit, shared confidence and a community that turns up for one another.
Where it started
The swimwear we wanted did not exist.
While training to swim the English Channel, the search was on for British-made swimwear that could withstand long, cold hours in the sea without harming the wild places that made the challenge worthwhile.
When it could not be found, Own The Adventure began. Around it formed a group of extraordinary swimmers meeting at lakes, lidos and coastlines—supporting each other through early mornings, hard sessions and much bigger life moments.
