Swimming glaciers in the middle of a heatwave

From a Heatwave to Glacier Water
While much of Europe has been melting in another heatwave, I've been doing almost the exact opposite.
I've been travelling around New Zealand's South Island, chasing lakes, rivers and hidden swimming spots. Some mornings I'd arrive somewhere completely deserted, with nothing but mountains, crystal-clear water and the sound of birds. It genuinely felt like I had the whole world to myself.
One thing I definitely wasn't prepared for…The water!
After weeks of swimming in beautifully warm summer water, stepping into glacier-fed lakes was a proper shock to the system! But as we all know, sometimes its the first step into water is the best part of your day!

A little behind the scenes…
While I've been travelling, there's still been plenty happening behind the scenes.
We're making the final tweaks to something I've wanted to create for a long time…
Our prosthetic swimsuit.
This has been a genuine labour of love, working to create a swimsuit that's comfortable, supportive and designed specifically for women after breast surgery.
We're getting really close now and I can't wait to share more with you soon.

See you at Dock2Dock!
September is almost here and I'm so excited to be heading back to the UK.
We'll be at Dock2Dock, and I'll also be catching up with lots of familiar faces at the Bluetits event taking place over the same weekend.
If you're coming along, please pop over and say hello.
One of my favourite things about these events is finally putting faces to names and hearing about your latest adventures.
Whether you've been swimming every week or you're thinking about your very first dip, I'd love to meet you.
Take it easy everyone x
